Chapter 9 ~ Gavin

Loretta and I were on the same page about having a baby and really it would not have mattered anyway because she is already pregnant. We are both very happy and so ready to expand our family.

Ethan has decided that he wants to buff up a bit and has started to work out a lot. After running for awhile he decided to try his hand a martial arts. Let me just explain that trying to learn when your exhausted results in a sore face. This is something that Ethan learned the hard way..lol

Ethan has not been getting very much sleep because of the ghost that sleeps in his room every night. It always wake out of a dead sleep (no pun intended) and the ghost will not budge. So instead of moving to one of the spare rooms to sleep he stays up. I am not sure why it bothers him now because my grandfather or grandmother has been sleeping in that bed every night since Ethan was a child.

Nona and Patches are still connected at the hips and never very far from one another. They are always comforting, grooming, and playing with one another.

Loretta just like last time she was pregnant constantly worked out. She really didn't want to lose her figure with baby number two. Plus she had to stay in shape for work so she can move up the latter.

Ethan has gotten himself grounded from his car because he is constantly coming home after curfew. Even though he is only hanging out with friends and they aren't doing anything malicious it still doesn't make it okay.

Ethan swore up and down that this time it was an honest mistake. He was at the bistro and he ran in to a new girl from school and they chatted for awhile losing track of the time. I understood but it still didn't excuse it and I told him so.

This girl he met is named Alice and Ethan instantly wanted to learn her sign. She is an Aries which is compatible to him and a hopeless romantic which appealed to his family oriented side.

Loretta has finally gone in to labor and we headed to the hospital right away. We came home with another baby boy named Jaden. He is going to be a friendly, athletic little thing.

After I got Jaden settled in for the night and was laying in bed with Loretta, I told her I wanted a little girl now. I asked her if it was too soon to try and at first she was very shocked. Since she just gave birth a few days ago and I could understand if she said no. Instead she said it wouldn't be to hard to extend her maternity leave. So we started on baby number three right then.

Ethan has started a little studied group after school. Him and a few others sit outside of school right after the bell and work on their homework straight away. Then most of them head off to their part-time jobs or home. That is where he has been doing most of his socializing since he is grounded from using his car.

I walked in on Loretta throwing up today, it was really gross. She told me that she is 99% sure she is pregnant again. I wish my father was here to tell us if we were having a boy or girl. We both really wanted a little girl this time. We read in a pregnancy book in the past that watermelons will help. Who knows if it will but I told her to start eating them now even if we are not sure yet that she's pregnant. Better safe then sorry I say.

Jaden is getting so big and growing so fast. He like his brother has Loretta's hair and my eyes, it's like a flashback to when Ethan was that little.

Jaden is even a happy little just like Ethan was before the virus got hold of us. Even if Jaden is getting grumpy all I have to do it tickle him and his mood changes instantly back into his happy little self.

His great disposition is going to make things a lot easier on us because Loretta is pregnant and we are getting that little girl we both want.

Even though Ethan is no longer grounded he is still keeping the study group alive. A few more people have joined in on the study group and not surprisingly they are all girls. Although Ethan seems to not really pay attention to the girls much in a romantic way. He just says there is no reason to rush these things and I am not going to push him. He will find someone in his own time and in his own way just like I did.

Loretta has been getting real serious with teaching Jaden all his skills. She doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Ethan. It will also make things so much easier once Gianna gets here if Jaden can do some things on his own. One kid at a time in diapers is plenty for me to handle.

I think the ghost of my grandfather Jace is a little confused as to when he is supposed to haunt things. He is on the balcony off our room haunting the flower pot and it scared Patches half to death.

While he was out there he must have heard Loretta moaning because he went in to check out what was going on and Loretta was in labor. I think she was just as shocked to see him as he was freaked out to see her in labor. Maybe it brought back flashes of his human life because he really freaked out before Ethan and I came rushing in.

I had Ethan stay home and take care of Jaden while we were at the hospital. We called every night to check on them and he always told me to stop being such a worry wart. He was family oriented after all and knew how to handle a toddler.

A few days later we came home with baby Gianna. She is our precious little angel and the last baby I think we will be having. She seems like a brave and clumsy little thing but our princess nonetheless.

*This now catches me up to my game play so I will need to play for awhile before I can write more chapters. I am sure I could have stretched out these chapters a bit more but I have been anxious to play them again.

  2. I'm so glad you finally got caught up on writing I've been waiting! Haha. Can't wait to see the little girl. I love all your cc btw. Do you use testingcheatsenabled to change the townspeople too?

  3. Thank you Ali, I am so glad that you enjoy my chapters!

Typically in all the towns I use I empty them out and then fill them with my own sims or sims from other creators that have given their permission. I just can't be bothered with regular townies, their looks drive me crazy. Plus I like my sims to have good choices for their spouses :-)
